“You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself.” (Lev. 19:34, ESV)
Dear friends and partners of PTJM,
In the context of the war in Ukraine, Pathway to Joy Ministry (PTJM) is ready to take in mothers and children for longer periods of time. Pray with us that the care and love we provide in the name of Christ will bring comfort, healing and hope to these families!
If you want to help and join our efforts, please visit our website: www.pathwaytojoy.org
Yesterday evening I was told that 150 mothers and children from war torn Ukraine were dropped off at the border in Oradea, Romania, with no place to go. This weekend we will receive (in faith) 14 mothers with their children at the House of Joy home run by Pathway to Joy Ministry in Romania. These mothers and children will be with us long term. The husbands were forced to stayed behind in Ukraine to fight and defend their cities and villages.
Some refugees come and go in a few hours. Others stay a few days. This home will provide housing for those families that will be away for Ukraine for months or until the war is over and can return back home. We want to provide stability, love, care, spiritual nourishment and encouragement to these refugees.
Help us help those in need today!
Because of Him,
Cornel Bucur
