Learners Beyond the Bell

Learners Beyond the Bell  is a transformative educational initiative dedicated to empowering Roma children aged 7-12 in the Tinca region of Romania. These young learners often grapple with inadequate nutrition, poor sanitation conditions, and significant educational and emotional obstacles, creating barriers to their healthy growth and development.

This holistic afterschool program is designed to provide a nurturing and educational haven where these children can break free from the cycle of poverty and enhance their overall well-being. By offering nourishing meals, access to proper sanitation facilities, educational enrichment, and a spiritual component, our goal is to eliminate the immediate challenges hindering their academic progress.

These kids need consistency. If we are to help them, we will need consistent resources flowing into this project. Hence why we are offering a monthly giving option. This way we can ensure stability to the kids living in such unstable environments.

Learners Beyond the Bell envisions breaking the barriers that Roma children in Tinca face and providing them with the support and opportunities they need to rise above their circumstances. Together, we can empower these young minds and set them on a path toward a brighter future filled with hope, knowledge, and endless possibilities.

Orphan Mentoring

Pathway to Joy offers monthly support to orphaned children and youth who are spending their developing years living in foster families or state residential homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Many are separated from their siblings and grieve daily in the absence of parents to care for their most basic needs. Fear, loneliness, and uncertainty permeate the hearts of these kids. Pathway to Joy believes that every child deserves a chance to heal and discover lasting joy.

Summer Camp

Pathway to Joy sponsors children and teens living in foster care, state residential homes, and impoverished communities to attend an annual summer camp adventure. Pathway to Joy staff members, in partnership with a summer mission team, plans an unforgettable camp experience surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation. The kids enjoy fun outdoor activities, rope course challenges, arts & craft activities and stimulating Bible studies and discussions. Camp offers an awesome environment for sharing the gospel, building lasting friendships, and creating unforgettable memories that last a lifetime!
