Pathway to Joy Ministries (PTJM) is a multi-faceted, Christian non-profit organization committed to helping solve Romania's orphan crisis. Since 1997, through a partnership with committed individuals, churches, corporations and foundations, we have stepped in to help rescue, restore and provide hope for hundreds of orphans and needy children each and every year.

Our vision speaks to the solvable nature of Romania's orphan crisis. Based on James 1:27, we strive to empower the local church and community to care for orphan children and families in crisis through the love of God. One of the ways we do this is by building a network of Christian foster homes that provide for the needs of these suffering children in a safe and loving environment. Sometimes it's that simple. If we find a home for a child in crisis, that child begins to experience HOPE for the first time in his or her life!

Our foster care ministry offers a strategic and viable conduit to express God's love and plan of redemption for the Romanian people. Hundreds of children and families have been impacted by our ministry programs each year and we look forward with great anticipation to see what God will continue to do.

Recognizing that the root of the social problems in Romania today are due in part to the depravity of man, our ministry objectives include a church planting work. We believe that focusing on the spiritual needs of people provides one of the best preventive measures against child neglect and abandonment, and the Scriptural means for a brighter future for all Romanians!

In summary, PTJM ministers through orphan/relief care, evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. We exist to take the gospel to Romania, a country with a history of revolution, where spiritual revolution is still needed.
